Our School

About

Hampton Primary has a rich history dating back over 100 years to 1913. We are proud of our established reputation as a leader of curriculum, pedagogy and opportunities for students to flourish; resulting in outstanding outcomes for our students.

We educate our students to be curious, aspirational and resilient learners who are valued for their individuality and diversity. We promote the development of the whole child through rich and diverse curriculum programs and a vast array of co-curriculum opportunities.

We highly value our community’s engagement in our educational programs and their connection to each other and know that we, as a school, are enriched by this partnership.
Our School norms of Collaboration, Aspiration, Integrity and Resilience are both celebrated and reflected in all that we do as a school.

Principal’s message

I am proud to be the Principal of a school with such a rich history of success and an exciting future. Our school strives to ensure that each child can reach their fullest potential socially, emotionally, academically and creatively.

Staff

Hampton is fortunate to have an eclectic and talented staff team. We have a broad range of experience from those in the first year of teaching to others that have taught for in excess of 30 years.

Facilities

Many of the school facilities allow considerable flexibility in teaching and learning approaches. The buildings include an original two-storey brick schoolhouse with internal courtyard for assemblies, a performing and visual arts centre including a canteen, a separate resource centre and a flexible learning space encompassing 7 classrooms and a large shared space.
