Welcome

Welcome to Hampton Primary School

Our school strives to ensure that each child can reach their fullest potential socially, emotionally, academically and creatively.

Our School

Hampton Primary has a rich history dating back over 100 years to 1913. We are proud of our established reputation as a leader of curriculum, pedagogy and opportunities for students to flourish; resulting in outstanding outcomes for our students.

Our Learning Program

Our rich curriculum is underpinned by a holistic philosophy that places equal emphasis on academic rigour, global citizenship and positive wellbeing. Learning occurs in a highly focused, collaborative and stimulating environment where teachers deliver carefully designed experiences that explicitly build deep levels of thinking and application.

Our Wellbeing Approach

Our wellbeing approach is based on the philosophy of Positive Education and is taught through a combination of explicit instruction, responding to needs as they arise, with a focus on developing students’ empathy, compassion and resilience.

Our Community

Our school continues to be a central hub of connection, collaboration and activity for the community. The school works hard to build strong partnerships with parents and community members and recognises that broader community engagement is key to building and strengthening the community and enhancing student outcomes.

Our Enrolment Process

Hampton Primary School welcomes all enrolments. Our Administration Staff are available to answer any queries you have regarding the process itself, our enrolment boundary or any other specific information.

Hampton Primary School acknowledges the Bunurong people and the Boonwurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which our school is situated and we pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging. We aim to build a community environment that recognises, celebrates and embraces the proud histories, cultures and contributions of Australia’s First Peoples. We aim to learn, educate, inspire and provide opportunities for all members of our community to contribute to reconciliation as we strive for equality for all races and cultures.
